Ironic…Isn’t It? (Through the Eyes of A Red Wings Fan)
It’s been well documented that after last year’s Stanley Cup Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins & Detroit Red Wings that Marian Hossa signed with Detroit for a better opportunity to win Lord Stanley’s Cup. Now flash forward a year and we get a rematch of the Stanley Cup Finals (which hasn’t been done since 1983-1984 between the Oilers & Islanders) but how ironic and kind of in a weird way be funny if the Penguins won the Stanley Cup, as to kind of be a slap in the face to Hossa. As much as I hate to admit it (because I am a diehard Red Wings fan) the Penguins have improved greatly since last year and as someone who hasn’t followed the Penguins throughout the year and have really watched them through the playoffs they have made alot of great improvements to the team asfar as finding all the pieces that work together. Well needless to say after a hard faught 7 game series. Marian Hossa Picked The Wrong Team. He Should Have Stayed In Pittsburgh.
