It must suck to be an Indians fan.
Indians Fans Tortured by this Year's World Series Game 1
Imagine this. You're a Cleveland Indians fan and you happen to watch the first game of the 2009 World Series...

Cliff Lee vs. C.C. Sabathia.

If you don't have to imagine this because you are an Indians fan, I'm sorry. I feel for you.

Hopefully you weren't also watching the NLCS, witnessing Manny Ramirez and Jim Thome on the Dodgers, and thinking of what might have been.

And maybe you're not dwelling on how you were up 3-1 on Boston and just one out away from the World Series a mere two years ago.

Or if your memory is longer, how your team managed to post one of the best winning percentages in major league history-- 100-44 in the strike-shortened season of 1995-- but lose the World Series to the Braves; then two years later, take Game 7 of the W.S. into extra innings before losing it to the clearly inferior Marlins.

You look beyond baseball for hope, and you get... the Browns. Thankfully, you still have King James and his Cavalier court.

But, it could be worse.

You could be a Pirates fan.

They're both sad situations for two of the oldest and proudest franchises in the game.

I am fine with both being there, let me tells you hat hurts more it's seeing players like Ben Francisco and what not playing on other teams.  Stars are always easy to notice and talk about it's the grinders I always make me feel a bit down.

You're right DJJ, those are the guys you really want on your team... Mark DeRosa is the first example that comes to mind, and Clint Barmes on the Rockies (of course, probably no one outside of Colorado knows who he is). There's still hope... as in hopefully Grady Sizemore doesn't seek greener pastures.
