I can almost taste the turkey.  Better yet, I can almost taste the turkey sandwich I'll eat while watching a butt-load of sports this weekend!

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday.  The family.  The friends.  The food!  The five days off of work.  Really, it's a great time of the year.  It's a time when we should all take a moment to think about the things in our lives that are good.  I know I'm guilty of spending time the rest of the year focusing on the things in my life that I'd like to change.  You'd think I'd learn to focus on what's good, but I guess it's human nature.  One of these years I'll learn the true lesson of Thanksgiving that I should always be thankful for what I have!  (And I am very thankful!)

So, this is already a wonderful weekend.  But when you add the ridiculous amount of sports going on this weekend, it really can't be beat.

You have rivalry weekend in college football.  You have some stellar early season basketball tournaments in college basketball.  You have NFL on Thanksgiving - three games now!  (I'll be nice and still classify the Detroit Lions as part of the NFL)  You have NCAA playoffs in soccer.  You have the NBA and NHL.  Really, you have it all. 

So take time this weekend to be thankful for all of the wonderful things in your life.  I'm so very thankful for my family and friends.  I'm thankful to have a job that I enjoy and a part-time job that I would do for free!  I'm thankful that the Phillies finally won another World Series.  I'm thankful to have FanIQ to fill my down time.  And I'm very thankful for Ty and all of the other wonderful people I've met through the site.  (Sadly, there are too many to name here, but you know who you are!)
