The Los Angeles Clippers lost their guard J.J. Redick on November 29, against the Sacramento Kings. He went out with a broken wrist and torn ligaments on the right side of his right hand.
When spotted walking around at practice this week without a cast, Doc Rivers said that it had been off for about a week.
However, Redick is nowhere near coming back yet.If the six to eight week timeline for his return was correct, then the Clips could be without Redick for another three more weeks. They’re looking at January 15th as the hopeful date.
When asked about how J.J.’s recovery is coming, Doc said:
Before the injury, Redick was averaging 15.8 points, 2 assists, and 2.2 rebounds.
“Just talking to J.J., he just said the atrophy -- he's amazed how he doesn’t have any range of motion. That’s just natural when you have a cast on your wrist.”
