JaVale McGee With Stress Fracture in Leg
The underachieving Denver Nuggets had big plans for JaVale McGee this season, but the big man has failed to deliver with averages of only 7ppg and 3rpg. And now, he may be out for an extended period of time. McGee was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left tibia, which has the potential of leaving him out for weeks, if not months. At this point, it is uncertain when the injury took place, but the big man only played 12 minutes in his last game on Friday against the Phoenix Suns.
The good news is that the Nuggets have a plethora of big men in their front court: Timofey Mozgov, J.J. Hickson, Anthony Randolph, Darrell Arthur, and Kenneth Faried will now pick up the slack for McGee.
Shaq is going to have to find a new pawn for Shaqtin’ a Fool because McGee is going to be out for some time.
