JaVale McGee may not have the highest basketball IQ in the NBA, but he is definitely one of the most athletic. On Friday’s game between the Nuggets and the Grizzlies, McGee blocked Zach Randolph’s baby hook like he was tight end catching a football.
Keep in mind that Zach Randolph is 6’9, himself.
McGee might not always make the right plays, but he has enough game changing plays to warrant the contract that he received. If McGee is ever able to put it all together, he could easily become one of the best low-post defenders in the NBA.
