The year is young. VERY young, in fact. Still, it's possible that we may have already seen one of the biggest football hits we'll see all year.And this one was a completely clean hit, too.
South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney pretty much did it all on this play, coming off the edge and tackling Michigan running back Vincent Smith for a huge loss, forcing a fumble, and then recovering it one-handed.
I have no idea whose idea it was to leave Clowney unblocked, but clearly that wasn't a wise move, and Smith paid the price for it.
