Jul 20, 2013; Chicago, IL, USA; Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Jake Peavy (44) catches a new baseball after giving up a home run to Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla (not pictured) during the second inning at US Cellular Field. Mandatory Credit: Jerry Lai-USA TODAY SportsJust to clarify, this is the Los Angeles Dodgers, not the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (do people even really call them that?!).

Anyways, Jake Peavy has resigned himself to the fact that he will be traded soon, and the Doyers are one of the teams that has shown interest.

About moving Peavy said:

"It is sad to think that this is probably my last day in here. We all realize the reality of the situation and I am prepared with that to happen soon. [GM Rick Hahn] has been outstanding through the whole time this has been talked about. This is a tough situation for Rick to be in. I don't think any of us at the start of the season thought we would be in the shape we are in now. Rick has been open and honest, up front with me and my representation. I think anyone in this clubhouse would tell you Rick Hahn is a first-class individual and this is a first-class organization. We have been on the same page the whole time."

The pitcher was also scratched from Tuesday’s game, which has only further fueled rumors.

There’s no real indication of who the frontrunners are in negotiations, but after the crazy Dodgers trades last season and dealing with the pitcher situation from earlier this season, they could still be trying to land him.

Then again, they just signed Brian Wilson so that may be enough spending for one day.

Looks like Mr. Peavy goes to Boston.
