Mandatory Credit: Rob Grabowski-USA TODAY SportsUp until very recently, it seemed like the Browns were pretty much dead set on starting Brandon Weeden this week against the Chiefs.

Now, everything has changed and they've named Jason Campbell the starter.

Campbell last played in week 2, when he went 1-4 in limited time against the Ravens. Before that, he had a total of 7 starts in 2011 and 2012 combined.

Now, Campbell will be thrust into action against the Chiefs, and the Browns are hoping he can do better than Vikings QB Josh Freeman did against the Giants. Freeman looked completely lost, and had absolutely no chemistry whatsoever with his receivers.

Campbell has been a backup with the Browns this year, so he probably has a little more practice with them under his belt than Freeman did. Still, his lack of recent experience might be a bit concerning.

That having been said, Brandon Weeden has been bad enough that it almost doesn't matter how Campbell does. He can't possibly be worse... can he?
