Jason Garrett: Which Job Do You Accept?
It must suck to be Jason Garrett right now. Two teams begging you to be head coach, and your current boss is offering to give up his own plastic surgery plans to keep you as an assistant for an absurd $3 million.

Garrett has a tough decision to make in the next day? Which position would you accept?

Baltimore Ravens
Pros - A front office in Steve Bisciotti and Ozzie Newsome that is very respected around the league and determined to win. Capable defense in place for a few more years.

Cons - Front office determined to win, but how good are they at their jobs? Willis McGahee and .... nobody else on offense. Defense is aging, quickly. Can Garrett turn Kyle Boller into a capable starter? Probably not, and probably should start over with QB position.

Atlanta Falcons
Pros - An owner who's clearly willing to do anything to win. Searching for another pro ... ok, maybe the fact Atlanta is always an attractive place to live for many NFL players.

Cons - Is Rich McKay going to help you out? Very little to work with on offense and like Baltimore, might as well just start over.

Dallas Cowboys
Pros - More talent to work with than Atlanta and Baltimore combined. A great rapport with Tony Romo. Jerry Jones seems committed to give you the head coaching job sooner rather than later. New stadium coming soon and chance to be head man for one of the most popular teams in the NFL.

Cons - You're still an assistant coach, with no timetable to replace Wade Phillips.

One thing that's clear, Jerry Jones should have just hired Jason Garrett to be head coach last offseason. Unless, Garrett explicitly told him he wasn't ready.

Not a chance I take the Atlanta job. I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy Jones always trying to make decisions for me, so Baltimore would be my choice. You?

I'll take the 3 million dollar to be the offensive coordinator for the 'Boys.  Then next season I can either take the Cowboys job or whatever other job (and theres sure to be some that are more attractive than the Ravens or Falcons) that come available.

I think he will stay with the Cowboys. He will probably get the Assistant Head Coach Title now that Spaggy is gone to Miami. He gets 3 Million a year, stays with a Playoff, if not Superbowl, caliber team. And will eventually get to be the Head Coach in Dallas in the next year or so (especially if Dallas falls apart in the playoffs again). So you dont get to be called "Head Ball Coach" right now, big deal, you get treated like one anyway and get handed a phenominal team to boot. No Brainer here guys!!!

I hear you, his numbers were off the charts this season. I got stuck with Phillip Rivers cause the a**hole who picked right before me took Romo because he knew that he was going to be my next pick -- freaking CHEATER!!! LOL

One of the main reason i was so pissed about Dude taking Romo ahead of me is because I already had T.O. and Witten- double points baby with every catch!!! We got 1 point for every catch and 1 point for every pass completion in my league!!

Think you're being a little rough on Jason there. In case you didn't actually watch the game with the Giants, he made plenty of gutsy calls, but when your receivers can't catch a cold, you got a problem. The only thing I wish he would have done was throw some screens to Barber or some more short,over-the-middle passes to Barber. This would have spelled the end for the Giants. That and if the Defense could have pulled their heads out and stopped making stupid penalties!!!!! This is how a Cowboy's fan sees it at least!!!!

i am being a little hard on him...Marion Barber was the focal point and deservingly so but Julius JOnes is probably more suited for screens.  Craytron dropped a ton but he did get too conservative and now they see what happens...they had a downward spiral the end of the year and it continued after their first rd. bye...tough luck Cowboys Fans!

The only screen Julius Jones should see is the screen on the door going OUT of Texas stadium!!!! Ha, ha, ha!!!!!! I just made a poll to see "What happened to the '07 Cowboys?????" Check it out!!!! My personal opinion is that the defensive penalties and poor defensive play were what killed us more than anything. The score should have been about 14-3 at halftime instead of knotted up. The dropped passes pretty much sealed the deal. Oh well, that's how it goes....no hard feelings........I just quietly and secretly hope that THE GIANTS GET THEIR *&%!**&*  &%#!* HANDED TO THEM BY THE PACKERS!!!!!!
