It must suck to be Jason Garrett right now. Two teams begging you to be head coach, and your current boss is offering to give up his own plastic surgery plans to keep you as an assistant for an absurd $3 million. Garrett has a tough decision to make in the next day? Which position would you accept?
Baltimore Ravens
Pros - A front office in Steve Bisciotti and Ozzie Newsome that is very respected around the league and determined to win. Capable defense in place for a few more years.
Cons - Front office determined to win, but how good are they at their jobs? Willis McGahee and .... nobody else on offense. Defense is aging, quickly. Can Garrett turn Kyle Boller into a capable starter? Probably not, and probably should start over with QB position.
Atlanta Falcons
Pros - An owner who's clearly willing to do anything to win. Searching for another pro ... ok, maybe the fact Atlanta is always an attractive place to live for many NFL players.
Cons - Is Rich McKay going to help you out? Very little to work with on offense and like Baltimore, might as well just start over.
Dallas Cowboys
Pros - More talent to work with than Atlanta and Baltimore combined. A great rapport with Tony Romo. Jerry Jones seems committed to give you the head coaching job sooner rather than later. New stadium coming soon and chance to be head man for one of the most popular teams in the NFL.
Cons - You're still an assistant coach, with no timetable to replace Wade Phillips.
One thing that's clear, Jerry Jones should have just hired Jason Garrett to be head coach last offseason. Unless, Garrett explicitly told him he wasn't ready.
Not a chance I take the Atlanta job. I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy Jones always trying to make decisions for me, so Baltimore would be my choice. You?

I just made a poll to see "What happened to the '07 Cowboys?????" Check it out!!!! My personal opinion is that the defensive penalties and poor defensive play were what killed us more than anything. The score should have been about 14-3 at halftime instead of knotted up. The dropped passes pretty much sealed the deal. Oh well, that's how it goes....no hard feelings........I just quietly and secretly hope that THE GIANTS GET THEIR *&%!**&* &%#!* HANDED TO THEM BY THE PACKERS!!!!!!
