Jason Kid Would Like A Trade: What Moves Can The Nets Make?
READ MORE:
This wouldn't be an official NBA season without significant Jason Kidd trade rumors as the deadline approaches. Rumors have now turned into confirmation on the Kidd's end, expressing his reasons for wanting a new location.
"I'm not mad at anybody," he said Monday afternoon by phone. "Sometimes, when you ride a wave, you get to the end and that's all there is. That's where we are."
Nets owner Rod Thorn addressed this message with his confirmation that he'd try to do what he could to grant Kidd his wish if it meant improving the team.

So what are the options?

Los Angeles Lakers -- Lamar Odon, Javaris Crittenton and Sasha Vujacic.

Dallas Mavericks -- Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, DeSagna Diop, Juwan Howard and Devean George.

Those are probably the two best options at this point, but Kelly Dwyer says it's going to pull off a decent deal for Kidd.

Any other ideas?

Just for fun...

A Jason Kidd and Vince Carter to Houston for T-Mac, Shane Battier, and Mike James deal would work out.  VC's inconsistent effort would be similar to T-Mac injuries so essentially its a Jason Kidd for Battier and James deal if you're Houston.  If you're New Jersey you have a crap load of depth at the wing and could pull off another deal.

Jason Kidd could be sent to Toronto for TJ Ford, Rasho Nesterovic, and Andrea Bargnani.  Bargnani sucks right now, but has high potential and Ford is great when healthy.  It'd be a risky trade for New Jersey, but it could pay off with great rewards.

Jason Kidd to Milwaukee for Andrew Bogut, Charlie V, and Bobby Simmons would also work out.  This will never happen, for a ton of reasons, but Milwaukee would become insanely fun to watch.  Jason Kidd, Mo Williams, Michael Redd, Desmond Mason, Yi, Dan Gadzuric, Charlie Bell, Royal Ivey... its a roster made to run... and extremely short.  Warriors East.

I think Kidd will probably end up in LA if anywhere, and, unlike this offseason, I don't know if I'd want that.  I really like this teams make-up, and I think with another year they become scary-good contenders.
