Jets interested in Kevin Kolb, who was just cut by the Arizona Cardinals

If the NFL was a poker game, and the high card was "crappy QB," the Jets would be your chip leader right now

The Jets have already signed David Garrard, and Kolb would be another competitor for their starting QB job.

Add them to the pile of garbage that already included Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow.

The biggest problem the Jets might have in acquiring Kolb would be finances. The Jets don't have a ton of money lying around, and if there are other teams interested in Kolb (for whatever reason), it would be tough for them to match another team's price.

At any rate, this is exciting news for anyone who is NOT a fan of the Jets. As abysmal as their QB situation is, it's hard to believe they'll be any better this year than they were last year, and they've managed to compile one of the least talented teams I've seen in a while.

Do you think that signing Kolb would strengthen the Jets' QB corps? Or should they not even bother? Are there any answers in the draft? There are increasing rumors that Geno Smith could go #1 overall, and Matt Barkley might also be taken in the 1st round.

We'll see how the Jets' QB situation shakes out, but right now it's not looking too good.
