Jets lose 37-14 to Bills, bye week didnít do any good
The Bills secured a comfortable 20-lead over the Jets with 65 seconds still on the first half clock whit the help of their quarterback EJ Manuel who made a 34 yard pass to T.J. Graham which ended in a touchdown. Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin secured a 43 yard catch that added to the score and safety Da’Norris Searcy returned an interception to make it at 34-7 in the third quarter.
The Bills won the match 37-14. They made use of four turnovers to get 17 points. Free safety Jairus Byrd scored two interceptions and Williams scored one forced fumble and two sacks. This is only the second victory in seven games and they broke a three game losing streak. Now they will enter their bye week.
Although the Jets are 5-5 and just came back after their bye week, they failed to win even though they had ample time to recover and practice. Their performance continues to be erratic and they have so far not one any back to back games. They have stood out though for getting alternating wins and losses. Even though Bills did not have their starting receivers Robert Woods and Stevie Johnson, they managed to defeat Jets.
Jets starting quarterback Geno Smith wasn’t able to deliver so was substituted for Matt Simms after the third quarter. In the last three games, Smith has scored no touchdowns and has five interceptions.
Its not just that. Smith hasn’t played so well on the road. Overall he has lost four fumbles, has eight touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
