Earlier today I created a Top 10 Things to Do Today on the Most Boring Sports Day of the Year. Well, I left off one very important task: Watching Jimmy Valvano's 1993 ESPY Speech.

The ESPY Awards are being held tonight (although we won't see them until Sunday) and Jimmy V's moment remains it's signature image. I'll remember the exact time and place I watched the speech, forever moved by his passion to give back. As a result, I make to sure to scrounge up whatever I have and give to the V Foundation each year.

I'm going to be away for a good part of this afternoon, so I'm just going to leave this up for a while. I hope you'll watch, even if it's the 100th time. The anecdote about his first pre-game speech still makes me laugh nearly to tears.
