Joakim Noah throws the ugliest free throw I have ever seen-besides Shaquille O'Neal. But Joakim Noah is the key to the Bulls post season success. I know, I know, everyone believes this team lives and dies with Derrick Rose. Or the bench mob. Or Loul Deng. But I believe that this team lives or dies by the energy, enthusiasm, defense, explosiveness and bizarreness that is Joakim Noah.

This guy is bizarre. There is no doubt about it. Considering he and I have the same workout hair, crazy curly hair, pulled into a nice tight bun-maybe thats why I have love for Joakim. Or maybe because he's my 6 year old son's favorite player. Or maybe he's one of the only guys out there that actually looks like he's working his butt off and having fun at the same time.

Noah looks like an overgrown kid when he's playing. His crazy long arms flailing away, bouncing up and down like he's on a pogo stick, making crazy faces at his opponents-it's fun to watch. And when he's got his mojo going, he takes it hard to the basket, throws great assists to his teammates and gets totally pumped when they take the lead or score a great shot.

But when Noah is having an off night-watch out. Butter fingers start forcing the ball out of his hands, the Bulls can't buy a rebound, everyone starts putting their heads down. Now I realize the Bulls are heading into the playoffs with the best record in the NBA. No small feat after this wacky season. But the games the Bulls have lost, at least a good chunk of them-were ugly. Just plain ugly.

But Joakim Noah has an effect on this team. He imposes his emotions into games. He provides a spark, an enthusiasm that is absolutely infectious. Against some opponents that are heading the Bulls way, if Noah is not at the top of his game, absolutely ferocious under the basket, with his head completely in every play-I don't believe the Bulls can win it all.

The Bulls have a lot of weapons. More than most. But Joakim Noah really is their wild card. He can blow this whole thing up. I can't wait to watch.
