Joe Buck made an appearance on David Letterman last night to hear himself speak, and among other things, promote the MLB All-Star Game on Fox.
Whether it was intended or not, Joe and Dave got sidetracked into a brief discussion about steroids in baseball. Letterman acknowledged Buck's inclusion in the Mark McGwire record breaking home run which led the peanut butter and velvety voice to share that he's learned some players are now taking Viagra to maximize the effects off whatever performance enhancing drugs they may be taking.
I don't usually consider Buck a funny guy, but he was entertaining for this brief one minute stretch.
"For us it's great, because they should be easy to spot. We're not going to see a lot of head first slides."Besides Joe Buck appearing on television, the other disappointment is that Letterman didn't give him another word to slide into his next national telecast.
