That's awful news for Kansas, who relies heavily on Embiid, arguably the best big man in the country.

Fortunately, they'll be playing Eastern Kentucky and then the winner of New Mexico and Stanford, so they might be able to make it to the Sweet 16 with or without him.

Embiid is averaging 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and just under 1 steal per game. His impact is felt on both the offensive and defensive side of the court.

He was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and could end up going first overall in the upcoming NBA Draft, just ahead of his teammate Andrew Wiggins.

Do you think Kansas will be able to make it past the first two rounds without Embiid? Or will his loss change their fortunes?
