The Real Victor In The Calipari Saga? "The Door."

The John Calipari saga ~~will likely end soon, I assume~~ is officially over, with Coach Cal leaving for Kentucky. Now, while Calipari is reportedly going to be getting around $5 million per at UK, I honestly don't think he's the real winner in this whole stupid affair. Instead, it's the Memphis Athletic Department Door, which has now had a camera pointed at it for almost two day. Why? So you can see Calipari exit the building I guess.

Anyway, "The Door", as it's being called, has become an internet phenomenon. The Door already has its own Facebook page, has been interviewed by FOX News (I'm not kidding. It had no comment by the way.), has gotten its own "I heart Door" t-shirt line and started a massive free-for-all comment thread about an attractive young Memphis reporter.

The Door has even beaten down competition from "The Gate", which is the video recorded front gate of Calipari's house.

In fact, if Kentucky is smart, they'll rescind their offer to Calipari to bring The Door in as their new coach. The Door is probably be a lot cheaper anyway.

I clicked on the link for "The Gate", and was still live streaming, with camera shaking up and down..to go along with an annoying noise everytime one of the 550 people watching it with me, say the most pointless things in the world..
