I didn't watch much of the first presidential debate, but I did notice that John McCain seemed a bit more fiery than usual. His campaign claims that he began taking an herbal supplement designed to "enhance memory and keep energy levels up" in preparation for the showdown. That's great, but where he actually got the supplement, well, that's where the fun begins.
It's seems that McCain was taking Neuro1, which is manufactured and sold by Nutrition53, the supplement company owned by noted NFL steroid abuser and psychopath Bill Romanowski.
Oh dear.
In case you don't remember Romanowski, he kicked Larry Centers in the head, spit in the face of JJ Stokes, and ended the career of teammate Marcus Williams after sucker punching him during practice. Oh, and he was a well known racist, to boot.
A teammate once quoted him as saying that he had to take all the supplements in order to keep up with the league's African-American players. Except there was one problem."He didn't say 'black guys,' he used the n word."
Yikes. Romanowski also supposedly used that term when he spit in the face of Stokes. So, naturally, he's precisely the kind of guy you want to be buying your herbal supplements from.
By the way, if McCain decks Obama or starts bench pressing the lectern during the next debate, at least you'll now know why.
