There's really no nice way to say it. John Sterling is awful (no, REALLY awful), and should be standing in an unemployment line.

His home run calls, in particular, are nothing short of auditory poison.

"An A-bomb for A-Rod."

"A text message from Mark Teixeira."

"You're on the Mark, Reynolds."

"Austin (Romine) POWERS one!"

“He’s something sort of Grandish! The Grandyman can! Oh, the Grandyman can!”

"Gardy goes yardy!"

Basically, his home run calls are notoriously terrible.
