Mandatory Credit: Tom Szczerbowski-US PRESSWIREI'm not sure if Dana White is getting desperate, or if he's just losing touch with how to run his company. It also appears he has allowed the inmates to run the asylum. It was announced that Jon Jones will now fight big mouth pretender Chael Sonnen for the light heavyweight title on April 27. They will first coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.

For those under a rock, Jones and his camp turned down a fight with Sonnen after Dan Henderson pulled out of their scheduled title fight with an injury, which then led to the cancellation of UFC 151. So now after Jones stating he didn't believe Sonnen deserved a title fight, has now agreed to fight Sonnen. Jones wants to shut his mouth for once and for all.

This fight makes no sense on so many levels. First off, Jones is 100% accurate--Chael Sonnen DOES NOT Jul. 7, 2012; Las Vegas, NV, USA; UFC fighter Chael Sonnen reacts after losing to Anderson Silva (not pictured) during a middleweight bout in UFC 148 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIREdeserve a fight in a division in which he hasn't had a fight in while with the company. And I'm so sick of Dana White telling me that the fans want to see this fight. In the voice of Jerry Seinfeld 'who are these people?' I never want to see Chael Sonnen in the UFC again.

How does Dan Henderson, who is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time, lose his spot to Chael Sonnen? Even Henderson, who is long-time friends and training partners with Sonnen, can't believe he isn't getting this fight with Jones. I want to know what fans would rather see Sonnen/Jones more than Hendo/Jones. These people need their heads examined. Are people buying PPV events to see the best fight or a circus act?

As Jon Jones pointed out, Chael Sonnen is only 6-5 in his UFC career. It seems based on one great fight in his career; where he nearly pulled off the biggest upset in MMA history, Sonnen only has to accept a fight or open his mouth and he will get the fight. Based on that theory, I guess Matt Serra should demand title fights in any weight class he chooses.

My question is, after Sonnen loses to Jones, does he get whoever the Heavyweight Champion is at the time? When does this sideshow clown go away? It really frustrates me as a fan of this great sport.

Dana will say anything to hype up the show, but looking at the roster for TUF 17, there seems to be several solid fighters. There are plenty of fighters who could be the hospital sender, Tor Treng, Urijah Hall, Jake Heun is a beast but will probably get tapped, Dylan Andrews has 9 KO's on his record. Quite a few undefeated guys.

I want to apologize for one thing in this blog. My research failed me. Someone pointed out to me that Sonnen did fight in the UFC at 205 and lost to Babalu at UFC 55. My mistake.

Agree, I have no idea how Dana can just skip over Henderson to make this fight.
