Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsAfter a long, drawn-out debacle involving Richie Incognito in Miami, Jonathan Martin has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Martin will be reunited with his college coach Jim Harbaugh.

Martin has been taking classes at Stanford, and San Francisco is the nearest NFL team to Stanford, and it's likely that the 49ers will provide him with a far better working environment than in Miami.

Martin's agent is ecstatic about the move:

"This is great for him to get back on the field and he's in Palo Alto right now. It couldn't be much better. I just think everyone wanted this to happen. Harbaugh knows Jonathan, I think the Dolphins were compensated and Jonathan wants to get back on the field. It's a good day."

Hopefully Martin and the Dolphins can both move on from this unfortunate fiasco and go on their separate ways.

While at Stanford and with Harbaugh as his coach, Martin was one of the best guards in college football.  San Francisco might be the only place right now where he would feel comfortable enough to want to continue playing football
