It's just not an MLB without a Jose Reyes injury

This year, he'll spend at least 15 days on it, thanks to an Opening Day hamstring injury that has landed him on the 15-day DL.

Reyes, one of the most potent offensive shortstops in baseball and also known for his speed, has had nagging hamstring issues in the past, both last year with the Blue Jays and prior to that when he was with the Mets.

This is just another one of many trips to the DL with hamstring injuries of some sort, and it's quite unfortunate for the Blue Jays, who will now have to rely Jonathan Diaz, whom they called up after Reyes' injury. That's quite a drop-off from the All-Star level of production they were hoping to get from Reyes.

Hopefully for the Blue Jays, he comes back strong after the 15-day break, and can help them win games.
