For the first time in over a week the gap between the Red Sox and Yankees went in the opposite direction. Since AL Cy Young voters generally look to the win column to decide their vote, Josh Beckett might have wrapped up the award last night. Best of all, it puts Boston back in the win column and up 2 ½.Blue Jays 5, Yankees 4 Did you see that look on Roy Halladay's face after his 4-0 evaporated? Wow. Good thing Toronto won, or Roy might be wanted for some very serious crimes.
Rockies 2, Padres 1 If only there were an extra week to the season. Colorado might be the hottest team in baseball, but just have to much ground to gain. 3 1/2 down in the NL Wild Card even after their 6th straight win. Who knows.
