Josh Beckett had no-hitter type stuff tonight. The last time he pitched in the postseason he had a near identical outing, blanking the Yankees to win the World Series for the Marlins in 2003.
Then Angels would have been well advised to call this off after the 3rd inning and get some extra rest because they had no chance. That's about all there's really to say on this one.
As far as the TBS telecast, one question. Did anyone else hear an annoying helicopter-like sound throughout the game? Maybe it was just my surround sound, but I thought the audio was entirely off for this game. What's everyone's impression of the TBS telecast?
