Josh Beckett was his usual postseason self tonight, but extra feisty. Perhaps, it was his ex Danielle Peck singing the national anthem or it's just his distaste for Kenny Lofton. It's not the first time they've gotten into it.
A little disappointed the Cleveland Indians pitching staff didn't step up against Manny Ramirez the way Beckett did with Lofton, but I suppose you don't want to mess with C.C. Sabathia getting tossed.
Speaking of Manny, his spectating at home plate could have cost the Red Sox tonight. That would've been the appropriate way for this series to end, but instead we're headed back to Boston. Josh Beckett is the man in the postseason. Whether he pitched Tuesday or not, I think the net outcome would be the same. Anyone picking the Sox to pull this out still?
