I'm not sure how many of you remember Julian Tavarez. He once pitched for my Giants, and has been around the majors many a time. He's currently with the rudderless Brewers, but he's also best known for being a total dumbass.If you're a Cardinals fan, you may remember he once threw a ball over Jeff Bagwell's head, got tossed, broke his hand punching the bullpen phone, and was fined $10,000. He's also been fined or suspended numerous times for getting involved in fights and even once for cheating (he had a 'foreign substance' on his cap).
Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a guy who planned on being a major leaguer, but was prepared to become an adult film star just in case that didn't work out.
Anyway, Tavarez can add yet another notch to his belt, because as Red Sox Monster informs us, he's lost his $20,000 World Series Ring. Doh.
Julian Tavarez didn't pitch in the postseason for the Boston Red Sox last season, but for being on the regular season roster, he has a World Series ring.Considering Tavarez was beyond woeful in a Sox uniform, I wouldn't expect the Sox to mail him that ring anytime soon, even if they have it.

It seems the newest member of the Milwaukee Brewers left the $20,000 prize in his locker when the Red Sox designated him for assignment, then released him earlier this month.
"They're going to mail it to me, I'm sure," Tavarez said.
Now I realize rings are easier to lose than a car, but I wouldn't even put losing a car past Tavarez.
