Liverpool fans might ignore the rumors about Luis Suarez heading for an Anfield exit but such transfer rumors are true indeed. The Uruguayan striker is a wanted man in Spain and Italy. Top notch clubs like Juventus, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are ready to sign in Suarez from the Merseyside club but manager Kenny Dalglish is hoping to keep the youngster at the club as long as possible.
Juventus are looking at Suarez as the man to lead them back into Champions League next season. According to reports from Turin, Juventus is willing to come forth with a £30 million bid for the Uruguayan international.
Rumor has it that Liverpool owner, John W. Henry is willing to sell off Suarez after the embarrassing racism row the Reds had to go through. Juventus is willing bring the player to Turin. After finishing seventh for two seasons in the Serie A, Juventus are back on the football map. Juventus are unbeaten in their domestic league and look as strong contenders for Champions League glory next season.
The 25-year-old former Ajax striker, Suarez has failed to comment on the whole transfer saga, however his refusal to shake hands with Patrice Evra further increased the unpopular racist image about Liverpool. Liverpool is in contention for the fourth spot on Premier League table. If the Reds fail to qualify for Champions League this season, Suarez could be on his way out of the Merseyside.
On field Suarez is Liverpool’s best offensive weapon. The striker has impressive stats with a club that has failed to impress once again. Suarez has 14 goals and 12 assists in 37 appearances since his £22.8 million transfer from Ajax about 13 months ago.
Dalglish will fight tooth and nail to keep Suarez at Liverpool as he is the best attacking option he has got. His other £35 million striker, Andy Carroll has failed to find form this season. Since his signing from Newcastle United, Carroll has scored only six times in 31 appearances.
