Embiid is considered one of the best players available, and is one of several players who would likely be considered for the #1 overall pick.

In his only year at Kansas, Embiid averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.

Embiid is an athletic 7-footer who could give an NBA teams a solid player down low for the next 10 years or more.

Kansas teammate Andrew Wiggins is also a candidate for the top overall pick, and it's possible (likely, even) that Kansas could have the top two picks in the Draft.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic are among the favorites to land the 1st overall pick. All three of those teams could use a good big man, so it would be a shock if Embiid were to fall very far at all.
