Not only is Pujols having an amazing year, but he is doing it with a torn elbow ligament.

Regarding the post on Ken Shamrock going 'head-to-fist' with Kimbo Slice, it's really too bad, considering that Shamrock once had a great career in the sport of MMA. He's been around as long as Royce Gracie and that's saying something when you think about how long ago Gracie dominated the sport. Grant it, Royce did come back earlier this year, but after losing his match, he decided that his first instinct of retirement was the right one.

Ken Shamrock lost not once, but three times to Tito Ortiz, who was once the champion of his weight class, but of late hasn't been exactly the best at the sport, and in doing so took an amazing amount of head shots. Now think back to how many matches he's been in and think about how many times he's taken some good head shots and it's amazing that this guy can still function as he's able to.

And now he wants to take on Kimbo Slice.

Shamrock should have retired from the sport after losing to Ortiz for the third time, and I was under the impression that he had. Maybe he's wanting to leave the sport of MMA as a winner and he's hoping that he can get that win against Slice, but in my opinion he's risking a lot more than his reputation by taking this match - he's risking permanent damage to his brain.

Regardless of how he comes out of this upcoming match, unless he retires immediately, he's possibly destined for a life where he will need constant care and assistance with even the most mundane of tasks and no one wants to see anyone end a career like that.
