Celtics center, Kevin Garnett, may be out up to two weeks due to some inflammation in his left ankle. Danny Ainge believes that Garnett’s ankle was aggravated during the New Orleans game last week.
The MRI results did come out negative, however, the Celtics are trying to be cautious with their lone big man with the playoffs just around the corner. In regards to Garnett’s timeline, "I'll guess two weeks,” Ainge said. “Just because we want to make sure he's really ready. A lot of things can cause inflammation; I think everyone has a little bit of inflammation this time of year. KG, we need to get him fresh anyway."
While the Boston Celtics are a sure thing for the playoffs this year, they could easily drop from the 7th seed to the 8th seed with the Milwaukee Bucks just 1.5 games behind them.
