Kevin Love stomps on Luis Scola's face

You make the call: Was this face-stomp intentional?

Kevin Love stepped on Luis Scola's face during the Timberwolves' 100-91 win over the Rockets last night. Was it intentional? Love says it wasn't, of course, and he apologized to Scola immediately after the game.

"He was kind of right there, and you know, I've got size-19 feet. So he just happened to be there, I had nowhere to go. I got kind of tripped up, and I just had nowhere to step. He was right there, it happened to be his face just like in Houston where it happened to be my groin."

Wait, what?

Love was referring to this incident, where Scola threw a ball off his groin in an earlier game this season.

The apology was a nice touch, but for some reason, it seems a bit disingenuous to me. Mostly because Love referenced the groin incident, which seemed a little tongue-in-cheek to me.

What do you think? Was it incidental, or intentional? Should Love be suspended or punished in some way? There was no foul called, but that doesn't mean the league can't review it. What's your take?

Which Is Why He Got The Suspension. If Love Doesn't Mention It, Would Have Been 1 Game Or No Suspension At All.

If Kevin Love's mother doesn't think that was a dirty play, then it wasn't!

Both moves looked intentional to me.  I don't watch much NBA, don't know history of the teams, but both looked intentional.

It's hard to tell. It looked as if they were going at it, but the move itself didn't look so dirty. I'm going to say it was because the guys calling the game were so sure it was.
