It's pretty clear that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to make some trades this season, and one could be with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Kevin Love has never been quiet about the fact that he'd like to play for the Lakers, since he's an LA boy, and he can opt out of his contract in 2015.
CBSSports.com is reporting that an Eastern Conference exec said:
“They should trade him. No one thinks he’s staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers.”
Recently, Pau Gasol was involved in some trade rumors, so he'd likely be involved if the Lakers did try to trade for Love. The Spaniard is owed $19.29 million this year, and Love is owed $30.4 over the next two years, with a third year $16.7 million option. That will be a serious investment for the Lakers who have already sunk a ton of money into Kobe Bryant over the next two years.
