Kobe Bryant blatantly fouled Ricky Rubio on Wednesday night during the very close game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers.

Rubio went up for a 3-pointer with moments left, was bopped by Bryant, and the Lakers won by exactly three points, 120-117.

Bryant quickly made his way off the court.

The next day, the league officially said it was a missed call on Bryant, stating:

"Video review by the league office confirmed that Kobe Bryant fouled Rubio while Rubio was in his shooting motion. Rubio should have been awarded three free throws."

At some point it seems like every team will be on the receiving end of a crucial missed call, like the Lakers were against the Hawks, but it's still a tough pill to swallow if you're Minnesota.
