During NBA Media Day, all the Lakers sat down to talk with, you guessed it, the media!
What's most interesting about this day, as the years have gone on is Kobe Bryant. With age, he's become more personable, making for phenomenal interviews.
In a sit-down with ESPN LA, Kobe talked about everything you can imagine.
One interesting part was when the Black Mamba talked about Steve Nash, and how he was excited to bring Nash to LA.
How did Kobe help convince him? By telling Nash that he's in the argument for best point guard of all time, and a ring would definitely help that.
The best part pf the interview? When Kobe was asked about people calling him a ball hog who loves to shoot. Kobe responded, “Some people are just very, very dumb.”
There's the killer Kobe everyone is used to!
He also revealed what his newest “passion” is, which may make Lakers fans a bit nervous: Tennis.
The Mamba loves hitting up the tennis court, which everyone knows is not easy on the knees, and that's where Kobe struggles. He said that he's been playing every day for three hours, and that he'll be bringing his tennis racquet to the road games.
The good news is that it will definitely keep helping him out with his new weight loss. Hopefully it doesn't prematurely wear out his knees before he has a chance to make a trip back to Germany.
