Despite the Game 1 loss, and the 38 points Kobe Bryant dropped, I still think the Jazz have a great shot at this series.

Sunday the Lakers made 38 free throws. The Jazz attempted 30. That's not going to happen in Salt Lake. Nor should it happen again in Game 2, so long as Utah gets aggressive again. Game 1 was far closer than the score indicates.

As far as trying to guard Kobe, I say just let him be. Sasha Vujacic can't be scoring 15 points a game in this series. Try paying attention to the rest of the Lakers.

1	This should be a pretty good series. I think both teams can play considerably better so I wouldn't consider game 1 a barometer of anything to come.

I agree with you...I like it that the Lakers pulled out the victory, but they still have lots of things to work on for Game 2...If they would have crushed the Jazz, then the Lakers may have come out flat in Game 2 though...Now up 1-0, Stern will present the MVP trophy to Kobe before Game 2. If that's not enough to keep Staples in a frenzy all game, then I don't know what is. I will settle for the Lakers locking up on Williams and Boozer for Game 2...The Jazz are not as bad as they looked in Game 1, but the Lakers will have the "Psychological Advantage" if they go up 2-0 in the series....

0	I completely agree...Let Kobe shoot all night...Don't Double Team Him...In Fact, just let him walk right up to the basket and score like he did in Game 1...There's no point in covering a guy who has been shooting over 50% FG since Pau Gasol joined the team...Fine with me!
