It seems like Kobe Bryant just couldn't resist Twitter any longer.
After taking over Nike's Twitter for a few days, the Black Mamba said that he wasn't going to start his own for awhile, but he did!
Kobe can now be found @KobeBryant and it's verified, so don't worry about it being a fake. The page is still pretty sparse, with no background or picture, but there's his solo tweet which reads:

It's only been one day, but Kobe already has over 300,000 followers, and it's growing by the minute.
He picked an odd time to fire up the account since the Lakers play the Clippers tonight and all of LA is trash-talking each other.
Oh well, he'll just get broken into it the hard way.
