Kurt Warner appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last night, and showcased his dance moves, as well as some great stories about his life, his career and his family.
He started off with some rather questionable dance moves. Apparently his teammates have been trying to teach him how to "walk it out", with little success. After he finally managed to have a seat, he talked about the story of his rise from a grocery bagger to an NFL MVP, as well as how he and his teammates thought they had won the Super Bowl following Larry Fitzgerald's touchdown.
Later, he told a great story about how he and his family chooses someone in a restaurant and buys their meal for them whenever they go out to eat. During the Super Bowl week, he accidentally chose to buy dinner for a Steelers player and his family.
It's a great interview, and an interesting look at Kurt Warner and how he backs up his talk with his actions on and off the field. It will be interesting to see whether or not he comes back for 2009.
It's incredible that someone who calls himself a Christian was able to go through an entire interview without once calling out Ellen for her open homosexuality.
I'm not going to mention any names, but I can think of at least one person who could take notes from Kurt on how to be a "good Christian" without being an obnoxious a**hole.

I'm just saying.
It is amazing how much more you listen and how much more you take away when someone is not shoving down your throat but being a normal man who enjoys life!
