LSU has converted so many close 4th and 1's, so many clutch touchdowns that sooner or later their luck was going to run out. That and Darren McFadden happened.
The previously #1 ranked Tigers most likely lost their chance to play for the national title, although it's still too crazy of a year to count them out. A win over Georgia in the SEC title game could boost their stock. If it's Tennessee, then probably not. Fans in West Virginia and Ohio are feeling good tonight.
Easily a candidate for game of the year, Darren McFadden might have also had his game of the season. His 206 on the ground with 3 TDs and 34 yards through the air with another TD far exceeds his staggering performance against South Carolina. It might just be good enough for the Heisman. At the very least, he's locked up a flight to NYC in two weeks.
I'd like to say it's going to be the Kansas-Missouri winner and West Virginia, but that's assuming nothing crazy happens tomorrow. I love college football.
