Outstanding sign on College GameDay proved to be foreshadowing.

Favorable spots or not, the LSU Tigers showed guts on "Gut-Check Saturday" by coming back from 10-points down to beat the Florida Gators. Les Miles pulled off another fake field goal and converted on two fourth-and-short plays down the stretch.

"I gamble more than you think," Miles said with the devilish grin of someone who doubled down and hit blackjack. "Their offense is a possession offense. ... They keep the ball. We knew if we got some fourth-down opportunities, we were going to make those calls. We just didn't know if we were going to make 'em."

To Tebow's credit, he played a hell of a game against the best defense in the nation, but his interception was critical to the Tigers comeback.

LSU is clearly the front-runner for the national title (my preseason pick), do you think they'll be playing on the final day of the season and if so, against who?

0	Why not Cal? I love this Cal team, so hopefully they can. They're kind of the Wisconsin of the Pac 10. Good, not great, so it would be awesome to see them take the next step.

I know this would piss everyone off, but Ohio State is looking solid. Solid, in that they might not lose a game which would clearly put them in the BCS Championship. Wisconsin, Michigan State (just because Dantonio knows Tressell in and out), and Michigan will all be close just to name a few games down the stretch, but I was thoroughly impressed with the Buckeyes as far as the Big Ten is concerned tonight.

This year's team has a lot better offense than that team, but they're still managing to go under the radar. I think if it was between an unbeaten Cal and an unbeaten Ohio State that the voters would go with Cal though, because last year's championship game will be a lasting image. Its not fair, but I could see it happening (or Ohio State could get voted in because they are thee Ohio State University.)
