NFL Trash Talk via the media. Who doesn't love it?

Last week it was Brian Urlacher calling Shawne Merriman's "Lights Out" dance stupid, this week it's LaDainian Tomlinson talking about his favorite opponent.

From the Boston Herald, LT isn't surprised by the accusations of the Patriots cheating:

“I think the Patriots actually live by the saying, ‘If you’re not cheatin, you’re not trying,’” Tomlinson told reporters with a hearty laugh in San Diego (fast forward video nearly to the end). “I mean, I think that’s the way … they live off that statement. You keep hearing the different stories of people complaining about stuff that they do. So I’m not surprised.”

Tomlinson couldn’t readily cite an example, mentioning the Dolphins and Jets and how, “they got a hold of a playbook or something.” But he was pretty confident in his assessment nonetheless.

“There are just different things that happen you keep hearing about,” he said. “Anything for an edge.”

This week, on what they would have said if they were being honest.

So, Bill you have won three Super Bowls and look to have the team to be able to do it again. How do you do it? "We...erm....cheat." LT, the Chargers have looked like a team the last few years that could make it to the Super Bowl, but keep getting thwarted. What would you say the biggest problem with the team is? "Well actually, I think the problem is me, I whine too much, even when it really has nothing to do with me."

0	Just a question, can you do the same thing from the pictures taken and printed out during each play. Now I am not defending what the Patriots did, but if you are not going to allow teams Videotape the games and signals, why should you be able to take pictures of them?

0	I believe those pictures you are referring to are taken by stadium cameras, and if I am not mistaken both teams have access to the photos. It's done much the same way as the game tapes are done. Because both teams have access it's not an unfair advantage, just a tool.

I don't think they are taken by a stadium camera because they take pitchers of whatever they want, but I think each team is allowed to have someone to take pictures. It is basically the same thing because they can both take signs but both teams can do it.

I still think if it is illegal to videotape the other team, it should be illegal to take still pictures of the other team.
