The Lakers are continuing to look at shooting guards, and one of their targets is Delonte West. Dave McMeniman of ESPN reported: "The Los Angeles Lakers have expressed interest in free-agent guard Delonte West, according to a league source."
West is a very accurate shooter at 47 percent, and averaged 9.6 points last season. Better yet, he shoots 35.5 percent from three-point land. Since he's relatively young, he'll also be able to help out the Lakers on defense. This would be a huge addition to their bench, where the Lakers are lacking a ton of depth.
However, the problem with this scenario is that the Lakers don't have a lot of salary to work with. They can sign West to the veterans minimum, or use the mini mid level exception, but GM Mitch Kupchak has said that the team isn't planning on using that.
West would be a good addition if they can get him for one year at the veteran minimum, but that is not likely. However, it's definitely a situation that's worth keeping an eye on.

You snuck that part in there...how are the Lakers going to the conference finals. They look good on paper right now but they still have to play..remember the Heat looked good based off their roster a year ago but still got beat by Dirk and the boys
