Apr 6, 2012; Dallas, TX, USA; Dallas Mavericks power forward Lamar Odom (7) against the Portland Trail Blazers at the American Airlines Center. The Trailblazers defeated the Mavericks 99-97 in overtime. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-US PRESSWIREThe relationship between Lamar Odom and the Mavericks was the worst since Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. The Mavs are certainly going to either trade or release Lamar this summer, and sources say the Knicks are at the top of Lamar's list. As a Knicks fan, here's what I have to say to Lamar: Get a divorce, then talk to me. The last thing I want is the Kardashian parade making its way through Madison Square Garden. As if the Knicks don't already have enough distractions. Everything in New York already blows up like crazy. Coverage of Jeremy Lin made presidential elections seem trivial. You know what happens if Khloe squeezes herself into a courtside seat every night? We got TMZ setting up shop in the media section counting how many french fries Chris Brown eats during the second quarter so all the teenage drama queens who think they have a chance of getting with him can know just a little bit more about their fantasy crush. But really, it'll create distractions, and this team has already got enough distractions. Between being the only true big three to get knocked out in the first round, Jeremy Lin hitting free agency, and Amar'e smashing fire extinguishers, we can't afford a Kardashian attending every game. I don't want that. The players won't want that. You better bet Coach Woodson doesn't want that.

Plus, Mr. Kardashian-Odom, you done went Hollywood, son. Whining and pouting about the Lakers trading you, completely mailing it in from opening night with the Mavs. I don't need that on my team. He was reportedly "unhappy" playing for the Mavs and wasn't motivated. Get out of here. Playing for the defending champions alongside a surefire Hall of Famer? Yeah, sounds like a nightmare. I really do love Odom's game. Dude put up 14.4 points, 8.7 boards, and 3 assists for the Lakers a season ago. Those are some fine numbers coming off the bench. I guess that's why he won Sixth Man of the Year that season. But after what I just saw in Dallas, I don't trust this guy, and I don't trust his giant wife. Just quit now, get a head start on your acting career, and quit messing with my team, Lamar.

On second thought, maybe if we put that Khloe has to bring Kim to every game in Lamar's contract I'll reconsider.

I just don't see how the Knicks can fit him in given their financial situation. In order to do so they'd almost certainly need to let Jeremy Lin, Landry Fields and J.R. Smith walk...
