Mandatory Credit: Spruce Derden-USA TODAY SportsStories have been swirling about Lamar Odom, and it includes everything from marital problems to heavy drug addiction to his disappearance.

The good news is that we definitely know where he is. The bad news is that he was arrested for DUI early this morning in California.

According to ESPN, Odom refused all tests and was booked in Van Nuys by the California Highway Patrol.
Odom was taken into custody at 3:54 a.m. local time after he was spotted driving erratically on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, the California Highway Patrol said, according to the paper.

The report stated that Odom continued to drive when authorities tried to pull him before he eventually stopped. Odom showed "objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated,"  the CHP report said. At the Van Nuys jail, Odom refused all chemical tests and was booked without incident, CHP officials said.

This is yet another chapter in what's looking like a rather tragic story for Odom. His agent denied various TMZ reports that he's struggling with drug addiction and disappeared, but it's clear that something is seriously wrong with Odom right now and he's not in a good frame of mind. Hopefully he's able to get the help that he needs soon, before it gets worse.

If you had to deal with that family, wouldn't you turn to substance abuse?
