Larry Drew is the Bucks' new head coach
Larry Drew, the former Atlanta Hawks coach for the past three years, has agreed to become the new Milwaukee Bucks head coach on Thursday. The Bucks have signed Drew for $10 million over for three years with an option for a fourth.
The Bucks must now tackle other questions, such as what to do with free agents Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, and J.J. Reddick.
Drew likes to switch a lot on defense, however, with the Bucks roster influx, the Bucks may not have a lot of players with the versatility that the Hawks had in regards to their perimeter defense. But what they do have, is a shot blocking force with Larry Sanders and Josh Henson.
Drew has taken the Hawks to the playoffs every year that he was a coach, but has never been able to advance past the second round.
