And This Is Exactly Why LeBron James Needs To Be In The Dunk Contest

Much has been made of LeBron James and his participation (or lack thereof) in the Dunk Contest, ever since he entered the NBA. He ruled the high school world when it came to dunk contests, but he still has never made an appearance in the NBA edition.

This montage of him throwing it down in pregame warmups shows exactly why he needs to be in it... but also why he probably won't win.

If you watch, he's throwing down some pretty ridiculous dunks. But due to his size, they don't look nearly as impressive as when someone like Nate Robinson does it. Personally, I think LeBron can be a better dunker than Robinson, but he's scared to lose, because he knows how much more impressive it looks when a guy does the same dunk, but does it with 6 more inches of vertical.

Someone please get LeBron in the dunk contest. Whether he wins or not, it will be a hell of a sight.

Damn that's a bit harsh considering there were some nasty dunks a short Spud Webb threw down back in the day.

That wasn't all that impressive.. still looked like a HS move... he may or may not do well.. but I agree w/ JUSTINEDWARD... nothing spectacular...

*thumbs up* on that BLUDEVIL... some of the all-stars may or not be able to dunk well,, perhaps a game.. or a few 1 on 1 games (LB & Kobe yep)... dunk contest..3 pt contest... somewhat of a medley of events... I like the idea...
