On behalf of myself and all of those who ESPN holds captive regarding your never ending praise that is begrudgingly
kept from you I apologize we apologize.

We apologize for not calling you a great rebounder for averaging seven whopping rebounds a game.

We apologize for not giving you credit for something you should of been doing since the beginning of your career.
You 6'8 260 lbs banging down low with everyone your size wasn't a stretch in our eye sight.

We apologize for not regarding you as a closer due to you having a knack for phantom fouls and STILL some how missing game winning free throws.

We apologize for disagreeing with the vast majority of the media members on the credence of calling you King before you actually won a championship.

We apologize for not really being that impressed with you being slightly better than Kobe due to age and your height and strength and not skill.

We apologize for not taking you serious when you claimed you had no help in Cleveland despite back to back 60 win seasons.

We apologize that your statistic didn't really mean anything to us until you finally got your ring.

We apologize that we shed light on the fact you basically creating a super team with Wade and Bosh surrounded by the best shooters the NBA has to offer in the Eastern Conference.

We apologize that your bull dozing to the basket doesn't quite capture our hearts as much as Kobe fade jumper or a Durant leaner.

We who are not sheep apologize profusely for not being swayed by David Stern campaign to get you a ring.

We also want t take the time to apologize to the refs for pointing out how incredibly biased they were in favor of both OKC and Miami, until the Finals where they turned their backs on Durant while allowing Lebron to turn the game into prison ball.

We apologize for the fact that we may never come to appreciate your play do to the daily force feeding orchestrated by ESPN.

We apologize for the inconvenience had they not compared you to Michael Jordan after your first successful game maybe we would care more when you actually done something you are more than physically capable to do.
