The House That Lego Built
9/24/08

Yankee Stadium closed its doors last weekend, but another Yankee Stadium will be completed in just a few months.
While the new $1.3 billion stadium in the Bronx will be done by Opening Day, a much more impressive building is being constructed out of Lego.

New York artist Sean Kenney & a local kid have spent the last 3 years constructing Yankee Stadium using 45,000 Lego bricks. When completed, it will be filled with Lego fans.
Why are they doing this send-off to the historic ballpark? Because as I've said before, Lego is awesome.

Once it's finished, they just need to tear it down and build another one across the street.
