What is it about the field events of track that bring out the hottest of all athletes? We've oogled over Cal Bears pole vaulter Allison Stokke and Aussie Melanie Adams. But this morning, we're proud to share with you a woman who trumps them all: Leryn Franco of Paraguay. When she's not busy being beautiful, she apparently throws a mean javelin.

I'm not sure if I've ever watched the javelin competition at the Olympics, but this is the year all of that will change. SI's Hot Clicks help us learn that she's not so surprisingly a model a beauty pageant contestant. Somehow, she finished 2nd in the 2006 Miss Paraguay contest.



2nd? Seriously?



Anyone care to dispute my awarding Miss Franco the Hot Olympian Gold Medal? OK, didn't think so. Go Paraguay!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL woman and I think people would watch track and field more often with beautiful women like this competing all the time!
