I know you're probably not going to believe this, but Steve Downie was involved in a controversial play this afternoon and there was also a big Rangers-Flyers brawl. Stunning.

Linesman Pat Dapuzzo took what was an inadvertent Steve Downie skate to the face while pinned against the boards. We've got blood! Dapuzzo needed 60 stitches and also suffered a broken jaw, but aside from that, he is reportedly OK.

While the injured linesman was helped off the ice, a classic Rangers-Flyers brawl ensued. Enjoy.

As you might imagine, that wasn't the last of the fights. Brandon Dubinsky vs Mike Richards got into at the end of this 2nd period.



We hope Dapuzzo is recovering, but we sure do take a great deal of pleasure from watching hockey fights.
